Rooms & Grounds Supervisor – Summer 2020 Season

Just 25 minutes away from the town of Lake Louise, Cathedral Mountain Lodge is located in Yoho National Park on the bank of the Kicking Horse River, shadowed by the 10,500 foot (3,200 m) peaks of Mt. Stephen & Cathedral Mountain.   • Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week,
  • Hourly wage with an end of contract bonus,
  • Staff accommodation onsite, $13.00/day, includes all meals and laundry.

The Rooms & Grounds Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest accommodations, lodge and grounds. The supervisor is accountable for training team members, maintaining linen and cleaning supplies inventory; scheduling, maintaining a wage and expense budget and ensuring all areas of the guest accommodations, lodge and surrounding areas are kept in immaculate condition.  The Rooms & Grounds Supervisor is expected to attend weekly supervisor’s meetings and be committed to promoting a positive team work environment. In addition, they will need to have strong organizational and communication skills. This position works closely with the Guest Services team and at times is a working team member of rooms & grounds.



  • 2 yrs. of housekeeping experience, with a min. of 1 yr. supervisory experience,
  • CPR and First Aid Certificate,
  • Second language, an asset
  • Must be 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive & upbeat personality,
  • Previous tourism/hospitality experience, as asset,
  • Outdoor enthusiast, a passion for hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains,
  • First Aid and CPR certified, an asset,
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
