The Cliff House Restaurant is a Westcoast inspired venue overlooking the Canyon Lookout, offering great views of the surrounding rainforest and features a large indoor/ outdoor fireplace. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who is passionate about food and can lead, motivate and engage The Cliff House Restaurant front-line team.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the hiring and training of team members working at the Cliff House Restaurant
  • Support the Food & Beverage Director in evaluating the quality of the guest’s food & beverage experience
  • Communicate any new ideas or concerns to assist in the development and implementation of Food & Beverage programs
  • Support the front of house staff by hosting, bussing, serving, expediting, and bartending during busy periods
  • Regularly interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Manage labor cost to ensure maximum guest experience and profitability
  • Liaise with suppliers; assist with inventory, ordering, and stock-take


Who you are:

  • You are passionate about offering a total guest experience
  • You have at least five years experience supervising or three years experience managing in a similar Food & Beverage venue
  • You have POS and cash- handling experience
  • You have Food Safe and Serving it Right certification’s
  • You must be of legal drinking age as managing in licensed areas
  • You have high energy and a strong work ethic


  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
  • While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
  • Working outdoors in all types of weather
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
