What you’ll do:

  • Lead the culinary team to achieve the highest standards in all dining aspects, consistently and profitably,
  • Develop and prepare menus, recipes and costing, focusing on quality, creativity, presentation, guest expectations and margin,
  • Coach, develop training programs and implement policies and procedures for all team members to follow,
  • Work closely with the other Capilano Group properties – Stanley Park Pavilion, Prospect Point, Moraine Lake Lodge and Cathedral Mountain Lodge to align menus and product purchases.


Who you are:

  • You have a minimum 5 years of culinary leadership experience, with a focus on managing multiple, high-volume venues/kitchens,
  • You can build a strong kitchen team through recruitment, training and organization,
  • You have your Red Seal certification or equivalent,
  • You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office,
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.


  • Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business,
  • While performing the duties of this position, team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time,
  • Working outdoors in all types of weather,
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50lbs and safely operate kitchen equipment,
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool.
