Duties/Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and cook meals with consistent standards of food quality and customer satisfaction,
  • Produce high quality food,
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Maintain a clean kitchen and work area
  • May assist with menu planning, determining the size of food portions, costs and ordering supplies
  • Always represent the interests and values of the Company in the workplace

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • You have 2-3 years of previous kitchen or cooking experience,
  • Second year of apprenticeship completed (or equivalent),
  • You have Food Safe Level 2 certification required,
  • You have strong communication skills,
  • You’re able to work in a fast-paced environment,

Considerations:

  • Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business,
  • While performing the duties of this position, team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time,
  • Working outdoors in all types of weather,
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50lbs and safely operate kitchen equipment,
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool.
