Lights. Canyon. Action! Believe it or not, Canyon Lights, our holiday winter festival, is just around the corner (November 22nd to be precise) and we’re looking for holiday enthusiasts to help light up our nights!

Our Guest Services department is the epicenter of day-to-day park operations where team members handle all guests inquires and concerns in a professional, friendly and engaging manner. The position is perfect for anyone who loves to multitask and deal directly with the public in a fast-paced environment.

Our Guest Service Agents are ambassadors of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, responsible for greeting and welcoming guests to the park. Team Members divide their time between several areas within the department, including the Front Gate, Guest Services, Bridge House Guest Services and Groups and Information.



  • One (1) year of Guest Service/Sales experience, involving cash handling procedures
  • POS, cashier experience, with RTP software system is considered an asset
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with others as part of a team
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal communication skills, multilingual is considered an asset
  • Commitment to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

Working Conditions:

  • Be willing to work in a variety of winter weather conditions,
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
  • While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool

Please Note: Canyon Lights is an evening event; we are looking for team members who can work mainly afternoon and evening shifts approx. until 10pm as the park closes at 9:00pm during Canyon Lights.
