Lights. Canyon. Action! Believe it or not, Canyon Lights, our holiday winter festival, is just around the corner (November 22nd to be precise) and we’re looking for holiday enthusiasts to help light up our nights!

Seasonal Position: Mid November 2019 – January 26, 2020

Work in a West Coast rainforest! Duties/Responsibilities

We are searching for a Assistant Restaurant Supervisor who is passionate about cuisine and enthusiastic about a total guest experience. You have a broad understanding of the day to day running of the Cliffhouse Restaurant at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (CSBP). You help to ensure the best possible Food & Beverage experience for both Guests and Team Members at CSBP.  In addition, you assist the Food & Beverage Supervisors in evaluating the value of the guest’s food & beverage experience and communicate any new ideas or concerns to assist in the development and implementation of Food & Beverage programs.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn,
  • POS experience, knowledge of RTP system, an asset,
  • Food Safe Level II and Serving it Right certifications, a strong asset
  • Must be of legal drinking age as supervising in licensed areas,
  • Can handle stressful situations and meet fluctuating and demanding needs,
  • Second Language is an asset.

Considerations:

  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
  • While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
  • Working outdoors in all types of weather
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
