Duties/Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the Guest Experience Manager with the setting and communication of work procedures and priorities,
  • Train and follow up with supervisors and team leads to communicate work procedures and priorities,
  • Actively involved in recruiting, selecting and on-boarding of Entertainment, Park Guide and Park Ambassador teams,
  • Working with the Operations General Manager, Park Operations Manager, Guest Services Manager and HR to develop and deliver department training; info sessions, manuals, training sheets and communications,

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Have a college diploma or university degree in business management, tourism/hospitality management or an equivalent combination of education and experience,
  • 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience. in a guest focused industry i.e.: tourism, hospitality, retail
  • Proven success in motivating and coaching teams,
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and meet fluctuating and demanding needs,
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office,
  • POS experience, knowledge of RTP system, an asset,
  • First Aid – Occupational level 1 or 2, an asset,
  • Second Language, an asset,
  • Projects a professional demeanor and reinforces brand and company standards.

Considerations:

  • Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business,
  • While performing the duties of this position, required to be on your feet for extended periods of time,
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs,
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool,
  • While performing the duties of this position, required to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, rain and winter conditions.
